Testimony

For a long time, I lived the "secular life": my schedule was full, but my cup was completely empty. I was checking every box, hitting every mark, and managing the chaos of a growing career and a busy home, yet I felt a persistent, hollow ache. I was pouring from a vessel that had run dry.

I tried to bridge the gap on my own, but I eventually realized that I couldn't reconcile my experiences in this world—the pressures, the successes, and the quiet moments of doubt—without a foundation that transcended them. It was only through Jesus that the pieces finally began to fit together.

My journey wasn't an overnight lightning bolt; it was a steady, profound awakening that moved through three distinct stages:

  • The Void: It started with the weary realization that "there’s nothing here." I had the titles and the plans, but none of it offered a lasting peace.

  • The Spark: As I began to lean into faith, that cynicism shifted into a quiet curiosity: "maybe there’s something here." I started seeing the "Quiet Witness" of the Spirit in the margins of my daily life.

  • The Overflow: Finally, that curiosity graduated into a radical, life-altering clarity: "holy smokes, there is everything here."

In Christ, I found that the "Way" and the "Truth" and the "Life" aren't just cute concepts—they are the very things that fill the cup. I still have the full schedule, but today, I finally have the fuel to meet it. He didn't just give me a new perspective; He gave me a new life.
